Review: Documentary about Aldo Leopold, "Green Fire"
Relacionado a este país: États-Unis

I write regular articles about wellness and cross-cultural issues for Examiner.com. I recently reviewed Green Fire, which  explores the personal journey of conservationist Aldo Leopold, who is considered by many to be the father of wildlife management and of the United States’ wilderness system; it reveals how his well-known idea of a "land ethic" was born. It successfully encourages us to contemplate our own relationship with the natural world in our desire to be “well.” Greta for teachers, naturalists, and anyone pro-environmentalism.

Aldo Leopold has become a hero for many people around the world who value taking care of the land, as well as the flora and fauna that, along with we humans live on it and share it.

Green Fire will someday be shown on PBS, as well in the following locations in the near future (2011):

My TIG Blog's Goal
The goal of my TIG blog is to connect with others around the world so that we can learn from each other about such topics as health and wellness, cross-cultural interaction, cinema, and anything else that comes up during our conversations.

To initiate some communication, I will be posting some articles I have written for an online news organization, Examiner.com, about the aforementioned topics. I hope that we can learn from each other and work towards creating a more peaceful and joyful world.

I invite you to comment on my blog.

Kind regards,
George Peknik
